Welcome
The National Aviation Heritage Skills Initiative is a pioneering partnership project between the British Aviation Preservation Council (BAPC) and the Imperial War Museum (IWM) Duxford. Its aim is to provide volunteers working at BAPC member organisations with training in the basic skills needed to preserve the nations prestigious non-flying aviation collections.
- Available to volunteers at any BAPC member organisation
- Training can be given at IWM Duxford or any suitable BAPC organisation across the UK
- The training has been accredited by City & Guilds and the English Reional Tourist Boards
- Currently (July 2009) 737 volunteers, from 35 BAPC Organisations, registered with the project.
