Any BAPC organisation with suitable facilities

Applicability

All volunteers in the Aviation Heritage sector irrespective whether experienced or not.

Course Aim

To provide volunteers with the necessary knowledge apply a range of surface finishes and to recognise the correct uses of various application techniques.

Content

Health & Safety implications.
Preparation of surfaces prioe to painting.
Various application techniques.
Identification of problems and remedies.
Care and maintenance of equipment.
Documentation.

Assessment

Assessment will be carried out by means of a question paper containing Multiple Choice Questions. The pass mark shall be 80%.

All volunteers may choose whether or not to undergo assessment. Anyone opting for the package will be required to pay a £5.00 registration fee, payable to City & Guilds, for each certificate awarded.

NQF Level

1 Credit at level 2.
