Any BAPC Organisation with suitable facilities

Class Size

Maximum of eight (8) volunteers per session

Applicability

All volunteers in the Aviation Heritage sector irrespective whether experienced or not.

Course Aim

To provide all volunteers with the necessary awareness of Health & Safety legislation and how it affects them and the organisation they work in. To provide all volunteers with an understanding of Aviation Heritage Conservation, Preservation and Restoration.To provide all volunteers with an understanding of museum ethics

The purpose of an Aviation Heritage Organisation

Assessment

Assessment will be carried out by means of classroom based practical exercises and a question paper containing Multiple Choice Questions. The pass mark shall be 80%.

All volunteers may choose whether or not to undergo assessment. Anyone opting for the package will be required to pay a £5.00 registration fee, payable to City & Guilds, for each certificate awarded.
